What will I do?

Reading Assist is seeking fellows to serve in an elementary school to provide reading instruction to students in kindergarten through third grade who face significant reading challenges. Fellows teach foundational reading skills to students who struggle to read through traditional classroom education.

Fellows work with up to 6-18 students for 30-45 minutes each day (1:1 or 2:1 sessions) and are supported by a Program Manager for support and feedback, as well as biweekly visits at your school.

The Reading Assist Fellowship, an AmeriCorps program, requires 900 service hours for part-time Fellows to be completed
