- YOUR TASKS**
- Plan and coordinate inbound and inter-distribution center transportation activities, including transportation volumes and capacity requirements.
- Create and manage transportation orders to ensure efficient and reliable shipment execution.
- Monitor delivery performance and ensure on-time transportation service.
- Assess, select, and manage logistics service providers based on defined performance and cost criteria.
- Audit transportation invoices, manage transportation costs, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvements to increase transportation efficiency and overall warehouse network performance
- YOUR PROFILE**
- Several years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning, execution, and carrier management.
- Experience with transportation tenders, provider selection, and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and transportation-related technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international business environment.
- Fluent in English & German, further language skills advantageous
