Internship Procurement Strategy

The tasks of the purchasing department include the strategic development and performance management of Group-wide purchasing. This includes the development and implementation of procurement strategies and the management of purchasing clusters based on defined key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Gain practical experience in designing and implementing training and development initiatives for the purchasing organization
• Support onboarding and knowledge transfer programs to strengthen learning and development across procurement
• Contribute to internal procurement communication campaigns, events, and procurement-related topics
• Assist in the development and implementation of the sustainability purchasing strategy
• Support the further development of the Lufthansa Group purchasing strategy and optimization of the annual category strategy process
• Participating in initiatives to enhance negotiation excellence and develop best practices within the negotiation excellence function

Ihr Profil:

You are enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a writtenproof of compulsory internship must be enclosed with the application) or are completing a Gap Year between Bachelor's and Master's studies

• Analytical mindset and strong strategic thinking skills
• Confident use of MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, ideally complemented by experience in presentation creation
• Fast comprehension and adaptability when approaching new topics and tasks
• Strong team spirit paired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
