At Abacus Medicine Group, security comes first. We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled
**Security Operations Specialist**
to join our IT Security \& Compliance team, based in either
**Berlin or Copenhagen**
, and strengthen our day\-to\-day security operations in a Microsoft\-based environment.
Your focus will be on security monitoring, incident investigation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of our security tools and processes. This is a hands\-on operational role, ideal for someone with a solid IT operations background who enjoys solving technical problems, identifying root causes and taking ownership of solutions.
*What You Will Do**
* Support the development and day\-to\-day operation of our Security Operations capability
* Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents
* Manage and optimize Microsoft security technologies
* Identify, assess and coordinate the remediation of security vulnerabilities
* Drive root\-cause analysis and implement long\-term improvements
* Work closely with IT Operations, IT Support, and other stakeholders across the business
* Maintain security documentation, procedures, and policies
* Support security awareness and best\-practice adoption across IT teams
* Stay current on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies.
*What We're Looking For**
* Around 3\+ years of relevant experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, Network Administration, System Administration, or IT Security
* Hands\-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure environments
* Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and operational security processes
* Good understanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices
* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive them through to resolution
* Strong analytical and problem\-solving capabilities
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
* Genuine interest in operational cyber security
* Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel or similar security monitoring tools is a strong advantage
