*Tasks**
* Develop, evaluate and document mechatronic system concepts for projection and illumination optics in microlithography systems, with a focus on dynamics and control engineering
* Perform modeling, simulation and analysis of highly complex mechatronic systems and independently develop and evaluate control algorithms for fast and extremely precise positioning of precision mechanical components
* Derive specifications and budgets for components from your results
* Ensure the realization and testing of prototypes and evaluate the test results
* Be part of an interdisciplinary team and work closely in development with customers (internal and external) as well as development partner
*Requirements**
* Excellent university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Technical Cybernetics or a comparable field of study
* Several years of professional experience in the development of complex mechatronic systems, ideally in the semiconductor industry
* Strong expertise in system analysis (frequency and time domain) and dynamic analysis of mechanical systems (MBS, FEM, structural dynamics, modeling methods), experience in validation of dynamic models and very good MATLAB skills
* Ideally, knowledge in related disciplines such as actuators/sensors, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, optical engineering as well as systems engineering
* An independent and systematic way of working, very good organizational and communication skills, strong assertiveness as well as experience in decision making, delegation, stakeholder management and fostering team members
* Enjoyment of working as part of an interdisciplinary team in a highly dynamic environment, combined with a high level of commitment and performance orientation
* Very good English skills, both written and spoken; good German skills are an advantage
