*About The Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer (m/f/d) to take full ownership of our Android application. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping the application's architecture, ensuring its scalability, and guiding its long\-term evolution. Your expertise will influence the technical vision of the app, utilizing modern Android technologies and best practices. You will work closely with cross\-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver a seamless, user\-centric mobile experience. *Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will possess extensive Android development experience with a deep proficiency in Kotlin. You should have a comprehensive understanding of the Android SDK and modern development practices. Hands\-on experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines \& Flow, Dependency Injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger, and REST API integrations using Retrofit or OkHttp is essential. You should demonstrate strong knowledge of clean architecture principles, design patterns, and modularization techniques. Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and MockK, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows, is highly desirable. Proven ability to independently manage complex projects, deliver high\-quality results, and focus on performance, scalability, and user experience are key attributes for success in this role.
*Responsibilities**
As a Senior Android Developer at Redcare Pharmacy, your core responsibilities will include:
Leading the design and development of scalable, maintainable Android applications using modern architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
* Driving the adoption of Jetpack Compose for building declarative and responsive user interfaces.
* Ensuring best practices in code modularization, quality assurance, testing, and performance optimization to support the application's scalability and long\-term maintainability.
* Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high\-quality, user\-centric features that enhance the overall user experience.
* Managing the delivery pipeline, including setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes, testing (unit and UI), and release management.
* Monitoring app stability through logging, performance tracking tools, and proactive troubleshooting to ensure a reliable user experience.
* Maintaining comprehensive documentation covering architecture decisions, features, and technical processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.
* Staying current with the latest Android trends, tools, and frameworks, and proactively introducing improvements to the codebase, tooling, and development processes.
