Senior Mechanical Engineer F/M/D

During your work as Senior Mechanical Engineer at aquila biolabs, you will:

• develop mechanical components, sensors, housings and assemblies from concept to production,
• prototype and test designs, select materials and optimize tolerances, reliability and assembly,
• own design decisions, work with suppliers and electronics engineers, and mentor colleagues.

Your skills should include:

• extensive professional experience developing mechanical products and bringing them into production,
• proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably Fusion360, technical drawings, tolerances and design for manufacturing and assembly,
• practical experience with prototyping, machining, injection molding and material selection,
• experience with mechanical testing, failure analysis and design verification,
• the ability to develop technical concepts independently and guide their implementation,
• structured problem-solving and clear technical documentation,
• the ability to collaborate with electronics, firmware, production and scientific teams.

You should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a related field, or an equivalent qualification. Substantial professional experience and independent ownership of mechanical product development are required.
