How to apply Apply through LinkedIn or ideally EMAIL **careers@pardigme.com** with your CV or profile and, where available, links to applications, products, GitHub repositories or other work you personally contributed to.
In your application, briefly tell us about:
About Pardigme Pardigme is building a social platform that helps people connect in real life through shared interests in the places they already visit.
A **Carry** is content, an object or an experience someone chooses to carry into a physical space. People around them can discover what that room is into, see the connection between people and what they are carrying, and use those shared points of resonance as a springboard into real\-world interaction.
We are assembling the core team responsible for bringing Pardigme from an interactive prototype into a live consumer product for our first major retail activation in November and December 2026, followed by expansion into other physical spaces and international markets.
Our vision and mission **Vision**
Pardigme's vision is to bridge the online and offline worlds, using identity and self\-expression to create genuine human connection and redefine the role of existing third spaces.
As more of life moves online, our digital identities and our physical lives increasingly exist apart from one another. That gap can leave people surrounded by others while still feeling disconnected.Pardigme exists in the space between those two worlds. Our mission is to give the things people already care about online an offline social function, making it easier for people to discover common ground, interact naturally and form meaningful connections in the physical places they already share.
The role We are hiring a **Senior Mobile Product Engineer** to turn Pardigme's interaction model into a fast, polished and reliable consumer mobile product.
You will work closely with the Head of Engineering, Founder and product design team to translate a new interaction model built around physical space, proximity.
You will take primary engineering ownership of the consumer mobile experience across iOS and Android.
The product must work in real physical environments with real users moving between spaces, changing connectivity, granting permissions, receiving notifications and interacting with Pardigme while their attention is divided between their phone and the world around them.
We are looking for someone who combines strong engineering judgment with genuine product sensitivity: someone who cares as much about how an interaction feels as whether the implementation is technically correct.
Christmas 2026 priorities Our immediate objective is to ship a production\-capable Pardigme mobile experience for our first major Christmas activation.
You will work with the Head of Engineering and product team to:
What you will ownConsumer mobile application Own the implementation quality of Pardigme's consumer application across iOS and Android.
Take responsibility for application architecture, navigation, state management and the reliability of the mobile client.
Build production\-ready interfaces from product designs while preserving the intended interaction behaviour rather than simply reproducing static screens.
Core Pardigme interactions Implement the mobile expression of Pardigme's core interaction model, including:
Work closely with product design to resolve interactions that cannot be understood as conventional screen\-to\-screen application flows.
Interaction quality and motion Build fluid transitions, gestures, animation and state changes that make the product understandable without unnecessary explanation.
Care about perceived performance, touch responsiveness, loading behaviour, visual continuity and the details that distinguish a prototype from a consumer product.
Know when an animation communicates state and when it is merely decoration.
Location and physical context Implement reliable mobile behaviour around location and relevant proximity/context signals.
Design sensible permission flows and failure states.
Work with the backend team on room membership, geofence or contextual state and changes as users enter, leave or move between supported environments.
Ensure the application degrades gracefully when location accuracy, network quality or device permissions are imperfect.
Notifications and application lifecycle Own the mobile implementation of push notifications, deep links and application re\-entry.
Handle foreground/background transitions, interrupted sessions, stale state and other mobile lifecycle conditions deliberately rather than as edge cases discovered after launch.
Performance and reliability Establish crash monitoring, performance monitoring and mobile observability.
Identify and eliminate slow interactions, unnecessary rendering, memory problems and unstable application states.
Work with the Head of Engineering to define appropriate quality gates for production releases.
App distribution and releases Own or materially contribute to:
Help make releasing Pardigme routine rather than an event.
Engineering collaboration Work directly with the Head of Engineering and backend engineer to define clean client/server boundaries and reliable realtime behaviour.
Collaborate closely with the Lead Product Designer and visual/UI designer throughout implementation rather than waiting for finished design handoffs.
Use AI\-assisted engineering tools aggressively and intelligently where they increase development velocity, test coverage, debugging speed or implementation quality.
Review code and contribute to engineering standards without creating unnecessary process for a small, fast\-moving team.
What you bring * Significant professional experience building and shipping consumer mobile applications. * Deep expertise in modern cross\-platform mobile development, ideally **React Native** , with enough native iOS and Android knowledge to move beyond framework limitations when necessary. * Evidence that you have personally taken mobile products from design through production release. * Strong understanding of application architecture, state management, networking, caching and asynchronous application behaviour. * Experience implementing sophisticated interaction states, animation, gestures and highly polished consumer interfaces. * Strong understanding of iOS and Android application lifecycle behaviour. * Experience with mobile permissions, location services, push notifications, deep links and background/foreground state. * Strong instincts around mobile performance, perceived latency and reliability. * Experience debugging production applications using crash reporting, logs, performance monitoring and analytics. * Familiarity with App Store and Google Play release processes. * Ability to make pragmatic engineering decisions under deadline pressure without creating avoidable long\-term problems. * Comfort working in an early\-stage environment * Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with design and product rather than requiring requirements to be translated into detailed engineering tickets.
Most importantly, you should be able to take ownership of a product domain and make the rest of the team confident that it will get shipped.
What we are specifically looking for We are particularly interested in engineers who have worked on products where the mobile experience had to respond to the world outside the screen.
That might include:
